As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeSat11:15 AM - 06:15 PMSun12:45 PM - 05:15 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity or policy violations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to established procedures. Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
