THE COMPANY
Our client is a growing residential real estate brokerage in the Pacific Northwest with a strong agent-support model, modern business systems, and a leadership team focused on helping brokers build productive, sustainable businesses.
The company is investing in growth and is looking for a relationship-driven closer who can help attract, onboard, and retain quality real estate professionals. This is a strong fit for someone who understands the agent experience, enjoys recruiting and business development, and wants to help build a more scalable growth engine.
THE JOB
The Director of Growth & Agent Success will own agent recruiting opportunities from first conversation through affiliation, onboarding handoff, and early retention. This person will work warm recruiting opportunities, self-generate new relationships, conduct discovery calls and meetings, present the company’s value proposition, explain commission / affiliation options, and help move qualified agents toward a decision.
This is a growth role first. The right person will be persuasive, organized, credible with agents, and highly disciplined with follow-up. Brokerage leadership experience is helpful, but the priority is finding someone who can professionally work a pipeline, build trust, close quality agents, and make sure new brokers are launched successfully.
The role will be based primarily out of the Portland / Tigard area, with flexibility to meet agents in person in Portland, Vancouver, and nearby markets when appropriate.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- Real estate industry experience required
- Experience in agent recruiting, brokerage growth, real estate sales leadership, team leadership, business development, or a closely related real estate / proptech role
- Strong sales, recruiting, follow-up, and closing ability
- Ability to build trust with both newer agents and high-producing professionals
- Comfortable explaining business models, commission structures, contracts, onboarding steps, and agent support resources
- Strong CRM discipline and ability to keep a pipeline accurate with clear next steps
- Able to work both warm opportunities and self-generated prospects
- Organized enough to help carry a recruit from first conversation through paperwork, onboarding handoff, and early success
- Collaborative, coachable, energetic, accountable, and comfortable working closely with senior leadership
- Principal Broker, Managing Broker, or comparable real estate license is a strong plus
- Oregon real estate experience preferred; Washington and Idaho licensing exposure helpful
- Must be local to the Portland / Vancouver market or have concrete plans to be local
THE BENEFITS
- $85,000–$100,000 base salary, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate
- Target total compensation of approximately $115,000–$145,000 based on performance
- 3 weeks PTO, inclusive of vacation and sick time
