Consumer Insights Manager – Beauty

We are seeking a Consumer Insights Manager – Beauty to support consumer insights and research initiatives for the U.S. market, with a primary focus on Hair Care. The ideal candidate will have experience in consumer insights, product testing, consumer research, or fragrance/product testing, preferably within the Beauty, Personal Care, Client, or FClientG industry. This role will be responsible for managing consumer insight studies from setup through fieldwork, analyzing research findings, and translating data into actionable recommendations that support business growth.

Job Location: Plainsboro, NJ, 08536 – Hybrid 3 days onsite

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of extension)

Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with global Consumer Insights leads to execute strategic consumer insights programs and research studies in the U.S.
• Drive consumer insights and testing initiatives for global Hair Care brands.
• Design and set up consumer research studies and coordinate with external research agencies.
• Manage research fieldwork, monitor study progress, and ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Analyse and synthesize consumer research data to identify meaningful trends and actionable insights.
• Prepare reports and presentations using PowerPoint and internal/proprietary research tools.
• Present and communicate research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure established consumer insights methodologies and research standards are properly implemented.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the U.S. and global markets.
• Support business and innovation decisions by translating consumer feedback and research findings into clear recommendations.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Consumer Insights, Consumer Research, Marketing, Market Research, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience in product testing, consumer testing, fragrance testing, sensory research, or related consumer research.
• Experience with consumer insights methodologies and research techniques.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with research agencies/vendors and managing fieldwork.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate research data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English.
