Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ growth as a dedicated Physical Therapist working onsite in a school-based contract role. This assignment runs from August 17th through November 4th, providing targeted short-term coverage. You’ll support a diverse caseload spanning multiple grade levels, with particular emphasis on transition-aged students (20–22 years old), helping learners improve gross motor skills through educationally relevant therapy.

What You’ll Bring:

• Active Illinois Physical Therapist licensure
• Prior experience working with pediatric populations
• School-based therapy background
• Flexibility to adapt therapeutic approaches for various age groups, especially older students in transition programs
• Commitment to collaborative, student-centered care

Your Role:

• Deliver physical therapy services tailored to the educational needs of students with special needs
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with IEP teams
• Address deficits in gross motor skills, focusing on functional outcomes for classroom and community participation
• Document progress and maintain compliant records
• Serve as a resource for staff and families about physical development and mobility supports
• Work onsite as an integral team member throughout the assignment period
