About the Role

\n

WSS is seeking a proactive, client-focused Client Success Manager to manage client relationships and oversee account performance from issue identification through resolution. This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are addressed, service issues are resolved efficiently, and accounts remain healthy.

\n

This is an account ownership role for someone who can build strong relationships, solve problems, coordinate across multiple parties, and take initiative without waiting for direction. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building long-term relationships with property managers and other client stakeholders.
\n
• Issue Resolution: Take ownership of service issues, including missed pickups, damaged containers, billing discrepancies, vendor performance concerns, and service interruptions.
\n
• Vendor Coordination: Communicate with waste haulers and service providers to ensure issues are addressed promptly and service commitments are met.
\n
• Account Management: Monitor account health, identify recurring problems, and proactively address concerns before they escalate.
\n
• Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce waste expenses, improve service efficiency, and ensure clients receive the services outlined in their agreements.
\n
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams, vendors, and clients to coordinate solutions and maintain accurate account information.
\n
• Communication & Follow-Through: Provide timely updates, document account activity, track open issues, and ensure requests are followed through to completion.
\n
• Client Retention & Growth: Strengthen client relationships, identify opportunities to improve the client experience, and support account retention and expansion.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Experience in account management, customer success, client services, or a related customer-facing role.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
\n
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong follow-through.
\n
• Ability to navigate difficult conversations, manage expectations, and resolve client concerns professionally.
\n
• Comfort working with internal teams, external vendors, and multiple stakeholders.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or account management systems.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in property management, facilities management, waste services, logistics, or another vendor-driven service industry.
\n
• Experience managing B2B client relationships and resolving operational issues.
\n
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment where accountability and responsiveness are essential.
