Bonus: $40k sign on for 2 years-new to PH-must stay on nights for 2 years to get full bonus

Experienced RNs: ED or ICU experience is required. If coming from an Advanced Care capacity, 1-2 years of experience.

Dayshift applicants have to have a prior staff position of ICU or ER to be considered, nightshift can have AC experience.

No new grad RNs or Transition Fellow.

Facility Details:

73 beds

6 beds consider rapid treatment section (RTS) for lower acuity (Urgent Care type of pts). This area is staffed by 1 RN due to the lower acuity

Only Level 1 Trauma Center in the region

Teaching facility

Most critical patients in the area

RN Ratio: 1:3 or 1:4 max depending on assignment

Number of visits close to 85k visits last year

Great way to increase skill sets, improve critical nursing skills

As a Level 1 Trauma Center, the ED has a ton of resources: EKG techs, ED techs, other clinicians at finger tips: Doctors, Respiratory Therapists, Medical Imaging, etc.

If Boarding patients, the ED brings inpatient nurses in to help so that the ED nurses are not caring for them as well.

Dept has multiple levels of Leadership- Clinical Nurse Managers, Associate Nurse Managers and Dept Manager. Leadership available 24/7.
