About the Role

The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Officer (Technology) to serve as the senior technical executive, leading the enterprise technology environment across various critical areas. This includes applications, information security, infrastructure, public safety services, emergency communications, and digital services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, establishing enterprise architecture and cybersecurity governance, and ensuring the reliability, security, and modernization of all major technology platforms. The role also involves overseeing mission-critical systems, guiding significant investments, and ensuring that technology initiatives align with the company's priorities and resident-focused service delivery. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree strongly preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive technology leadership experience. The role requires a deep technical fluency in enterprise applications, cybersecurity, network and systems infrastructure, and digital service delivery. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, enterprise architecture, and IT portfolio governance is essential. Experience in managing large-scale technology budgets, particularly in a government or large public-sector institution, is also a key requirement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading technology modernization initiatives, strong people leadership skills, and a commitment to equity, inclusion, and resident-centered digital service delivery.
