Care Manager

The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader in a senior living environment, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team. Key Responsibilities include: Leading shift assignments, managing attendance, and coordinating coverage Providing hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Mentoring caregivers on quality standards, hospitality, and documentation Reviewing charting and ensuring alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP) Monitoring resident health changes and communicating concerns promptly Supporting onboarding and mentoring new team members Promoting safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions The role requires being both a working caregiver and a frontline leader, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and compassion.
