Company Description Overview As a Senior Accountant at Epsilon, you will play an important role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of our financial operations. Reporting to the Senior Director of Data Accounting, you will support the month-end close process, general ledger accounting, internal controls documentation, billing reviews, and audit activities. In this role, you will collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and cross-functional partners to analyze financial activity, strengthen controls, and identify opportunities to improve and automate processes. You will also contribute to financial systems and ERP enhancements while supporting special projects and evolving business priorities.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring financial activity is accurately and appropriately recorded.
- Prepare journal entries, analyze general ledger accounts, and develop supporting documentation.
- Perform SOX reviews of billing files and invoice requests.
- Review financial information to identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Help automate and streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Support financial systems implementations, enhancements, and ERP upgrades.
- Partner with the Senior Director of Data Accounting on special projects and other business priorities.
- Develop the knowledge needed to provide effective backup support across accounting responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Five or more years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with financial systems such as SAP, BlackLine, Hyperion Essbase, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and support multiple accounting responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while working both independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility and adaptability as responsibilities and business priorities evolve.
- Experience working within a publicly traded company.
- Familiarity with FMC requirements and audit processes.
- Experience supporting accounting process automation or financial systems implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to improve controls, streamline processes, or increase operational efficiency.
