Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in project finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Work In Progress (WIP) accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting project-related financial activities. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle complex accounting tasks and contribute to the financial success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Work In Progress (WIP) accounting to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project costs and revenues.
• Prepare and analyze project finance reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Review and reconcile project-related financial transactions and accounts.
• Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to support project financial planning and control.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to project finance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on project finance.
• Proven experience managing Work In Progress (WIP) accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a US Citizen

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No direct reports, may collaborate with different stakeholders and customers.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $130,000 per year
