Located in the picturesque San Luis Valley of Southern Colorado, a regional facility that caters to over 50,000 patients is seeking a Family Medicine physician who is also capable of providing obstetric services.
Practice Highlights
This is primarily an outpatient role, with the exception of OB duties.
A hospitalist program is already established.
There is an option for the candidate to engage in additional hospitalist work if interested.
The physician will manage a patient load of 18-22 individuals daily.
The hospital conducts approximately 400 deliveries each year.
OB call is shared at a ratio of 1:3.
Being bilingual is considered an advantage.
Financial Package
A guaranteed annual base salary of $300,000.
A sign-on bonus of $50,000.
Annual loan repayment assistance of $20,000.
A yearly bonus of 10% of the base salary for achieving RVU targets.
A 4-day workweek is offered.
Community/Location
Situated at the entrance to the Great Sand Dunes, Alamosa serves as the vibrant center of the San Luis Valley. This area provides an ideal blend of outdoor adventures and distinctive experiences. With its natural attractions, including hot springs, rolling dunes, and majestic mountain ranges, Alamosa is truly a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
