Inventory Specialist

Inventory Specialist Inventory Specialist at Wyld. Responsibilities include accurately documenting finished products within state-mandated inventory tracking systems, coordinating inventory before and after packaging, testing, and sales fulfillment, and facilitating sale transactions with sales representatives. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in inventory control based on company standards and state regulations: Document and enter all inventory from production kitchen into METRC or other state-specific inventory tracking system Clearly label all inventory Perform daily audits of physical inventory Collaborate with Inventory Supervisor or Manager on inventory levels and packaging planning Log all transfers from inventory items into finished packaged sellable units Fulfill orders, complete manifest documentation, and facilitate the intake and outtake of product with sales representatives Receive, stage, and coordinate the flow of raw materials throughout the facility Maintain a clean and organized inventory vault and ensure a safe working environment Communicate information and respond to questions or suggestions from various levels within the company: Report any product or production equipment that appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory to supervisors Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs Qualifications At least 1 year of directly related experience and/or training in an inventory, analyst or logistics role or environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced work environment Computer skills: Microsoft suite, Google, Slack, experience in Jira and/or other management platforms and software preferred Language skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written Math skills: basic mathematical skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Travel requirements: occasional travel between buildings and sites Ability to maintain/manage confidential information State regulations require all applicants to be 21 years of age or older ServSafe or Food Handler’s Card preferred Will be required to submit to a background check Willingness to obtain forklift certification, if required Must obtain all applicable state-required permits, licenses, and certifications Benefits Non-exempt employee receiving a competitive hourly wage of $23.00–$27.75 per hour paid biweekly, 11 paid holidays, 80 hours of PTO, 401(k) and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
