Responsibilities: Coordinates and monitors the review and analysis of practitioner applications and accompanying documents, ensuring applicant eligibility. Conducts thorough investigation, research, and timely primary source verification of all components of the application file. Identifies issues that require additional investigation and evaluation, validates discrepancies, and ensures appropriate follow-up. Reviews necessary documentation and verifications prior to submittal to clients, ensuring turnaround time, productivity, quality of data and communication and collaboration are within required KPI expectations. Responds to inquiries from other healthcare organizations, and interfaces with internal/ external customers on day-to-day credentialing/privileging issues as they arise. Utilizes and maintains the credentialing database, optimizes efficiency, and performs queries, reports, and document generation. Meets weekly performance metrics which include file completion, quality, and turnaround time. Maintains strict confidentiality of all data and information. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Christus credentialing process and CS Partners and SCP Health clinician scheduling process. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, Outlook)

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, equivalent field, or equivalent work experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

3 to 5 years of experience in hospital or managed care clinician credentialing. Prior experience with the Christus credentialing process and CS Partners clinician scheduling process, preferred.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:

Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred.

PRIMARY LOCATION:

Remote - United States Pay Range: 42,944.00 - 59,580.00 USD annually This range represents the anticipated base salary for this role.
