Supply Planner

Feetures

Feetures is a family-owned performance sock brand headquartered in the Charlotte Metro area of North Carolina, built on one core belief: people are not meant to sit still. We create socks designed for every kind of athlete, because we believe all people are Meant to Move - and it's our mission to inspire and support that passion in everyone. Founded in 2002, Feetures was born from a drive to engineer a better sock for runners, athletes, and all people pursuing active, healthy lifestyles. Today, we're the #1 running sock brand in U.S. run specialty stores, sold in more than 40 countries worldwide - a global footprint built on the foundation of a tight-knit, values-driven family business. We obsess over the details, push the limits of performance, and bring unmatched competitive passion to everything we do. We're not just making socks. We're moving an industry forward. If you're driven by purpose and energized by performance, you'll feel right at home here. Role Summary The Supply Planner is responsible for translating approved demand plans into executable supply strategies across all suppliers and product lines, managing purchase orders, inbound flow, and inventory positioning to ensure Feetures has the right product in the right place at the right time. This role drives supply continuity and inventory health by monitoring weeks of supply, recommending replenishment actions, and actively managing inbound freight decisions in partnership with the transportation function. It also owns the operational execution of the Supplier Excellence Scorecard program, gathering performance data, maintaining the scorecard, and driving workflow improvements that support the Director’s supplier accountability conversations. The Supply Planner is a detail-oriented individual contributor whose execution accuracy and analytical rigor directly impact service levels, inventory investment, and supplier relationship quality. What You’ll Own Supply Planning Translates consensus demand plans into purchase orders and replenishment schedules across all suppliers and product lines, maintaining appropriate weeks of supply targets by SKU and channel. Monitors inventory positions on a regular cadence, identifies supply risks and surplus exposure, and recommends replenishment or flow adjustments with supporting analytical rationale for Director review. Manages inbound flow decisions in coordination with the transportation function, analyzing ocean vs. air tradeoffs and recommending mode selection that balances cost and service requirements. Tracks open purchase orders against confirmed delivery timelines, proactively identifying delays and escalating supply risks before they impact fill rates or customer commitments. Manage system settings and parameters to ensure accurate ordering. Monitor PO deadlines and exceptions, working around calendar shifts, variable lead and transit times, and supplier requirements. Build pre-and post-order supplier forecasts, analyzing and recapping changes to demand team and suppliers. Expedite priority SKUs and manage supplier WIP tracking to support ever-changing supply needs. Inventory Management Monitors weeks of supply and in-stock fill rate performance across the product portfolio, surfacing excess and at-risk inventory positions and recommending mitigation actions to the Director. Maintains accurate supply planning data within planning systems, ensuring inventory records, PO statuses, and lead time assumptions reflect current operating conditions. Evaluate at-risk orders and prioritize inventory allocation based on supply constraints, sales priorities, and customer demand. Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and customer service on new product launches and communicate any foreseeable delays based on incoming receipts. Executes the operational cadence of the Feetures Supplier Excellence Scorecard program, gathering on-time delivery, quality, and capacity data from internal systems and supplier partners on a recurring basis. Maintains and updates supplier scorecards with current performance data, ensuring accuracy and consistency ahead of Director-led supplier review conversations. Identifies and implements workflow improvements to the scorecard data collection and reporting process, increasing efficiency and reliability of the program over time. Reporting & Analytics Maintains supply planning KPI reporting across weeks of supply, in-stock fill rate, excess inventory, and air vs. ocean mix, contributing to Director and executive-level planning reviews. Builds and maintains planning models and tracking tools that improve the visibility, accuracy, and responsiveness of the supply planning process. Create and maintain weekly out-of-stock (OOS) reporting, proactively communicating potential stockout risks to cross-functional teams. Update closeout projections based on expected end-of-season excess inventory levels. Report on pre-season booking results, including mix across categories, silhouettes, and colors, and identify low-volume styles that may be candidates for elimination. What Success Looks Like Inventory positions are understood at the SKU level - WOS, fill rate, and excess exposure are monitored proactively, not reactively Purchase orders and replenishment schedules are accurate, on time, and connected to the demand plan without requiring directional oversight Inbound flow decisions come with a recommendation, not just a question - ocean vs. air tradeoffs are analyzed and escalated with a clear point of view The Supplier Excellence Scorecard is current, accurate, and ready for every supplier review without prompting Analysis moves beyond status reporting - patterns are spotted, risks are surfaced early, and the Director is acting on what this person brings rather than pulling information out of them What We’re Looking For Required Skills & Experience Replenishment and PO management - must have directly built and managed purchase orders against a demand plan. Inventory analytics - WOS, fill rate, excess exposure, and inbound flow analysis with the ability to produce recommendations, not just report numbers. Ocean vs. air freight fundamentals - must understand mode tradeoffs and cost implications well enough to have an informed conversation. Supplier communication - comfortable engaging external partners professionally and holding them accountable with data. Spreadsheet and planning tool proficiency. Strong attention to detail and data-driven analytical skills, with the ability to define problems, gather and analyze data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions. Direct supply planning or inventory management experience at a consumer goods, apparel, footwear, or performance product company - category proximity matters given Feetures’ seasonal demand patterns, factory lead times, and retail channel dynamics. Experience with physical product that has real lead times - domestic or short-cycle supply chain backgrounds alone are insufficient. Cross-functional exposure - must have interfaced and excelled in communication with commercial teams, not operated in a planning silo. Education Bachelor’s degree required; supply chain preferred but not exclusive - business, finance, procurement, economics, and operations management are equally viable. Strong hands-on experience may compensate for field of study but not for the degree itself. Years of Experience Three to five years in supply planning and/or broader operations experience without direct planning ownership. Nice to Have ERP experience preferred; NetSuite familiarity a plus. Prior exposure to supplier scorecards or vendor performance programs is a meaningful differentiator. What Sets You Apart You've planned before; but probably not like this. Most supply planning roles ask you to manage a queue. This one asks you to own a function. You'll build and manage purchase orders, run the inbound flow model, and own the operational execution of our supplier scorecard program, all as an individual contributor with direct visibility into how your decisions move inventory and impact service levels across the business. You'll work directly with a leader and team who expect recommendations, not status updates. If you're the kind of planner who spots a WOS drift before it becomes a fill rate problem, who comes to a conversation with a point of view instead of a spreadsheet, and who finds supplier accountability work just as interesting as the numbers behind it - this role was built for you. Feetures is a performance sock brand with a serious supply chain operation and a team small enough that your work is visible from day one. What you build here matters. Why This Role This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role for someone who wants direct accountability over supply outcomes. Your analysis feeds the decisions the Director brings to suppliers, and your recommendations shape what shows up on shelves and websites. We offer a competitive market rate salary benchmarked by Salary.com. Health, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability insurance. 401(k) with company match. PTO & Holidays 20 PTO days available from day one, plus 1 floating holiday and 10 company-paid holidays per year. 12 free pairs of Feetures socks annually, plus up to 48 pairs at incredible discounts and discounts on Feetures branded athletic apparel. Parking at Charlotte and Hickory offices and a monthly stipend to pursue an active lifestyle. Life in Charlotte This role is based in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must reside in the Charlotte Metro area. A hybrid schedule with 2-3 days onsite per week is required. Booming job market anchored by Fortune 500 headquarters, with a growing food, arts, and culture scene. Mild four-season climate with easy access to the mountains and coast, and a lower cost of living than comparable metros. Feetures is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Feetures
