HAUS is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented Office Production Assistant to join our Los Angeles team. This person has 2–3 years of experience working as an office production assistant or coordinator across commercials, TV, film, or marketing, either as a freelancer or on staff at a studio, production company, or agency. A solid understanding of budget etiquette and expense coding is a must.

Responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices.
• Review and tag P-Card expenses.
• Organize, prepare for, and facilitate wrap meetings with external freelance teams.
• Oversee the collection of inventories and hard drives.
• Manage, process, and reconcile petty cash for each shoot.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records across platforms, including budgets, Airtable logs, and Google Drive, throughout prep and wrap.
• Support budget tracking by reviewing and submitting expenses to the appropriate cross-functional cost centers.
• Apply working knowledge of production budgets to support day-to-day decisions.

Requirements

• Technical — you’re comfortable learning new tools and workflows! Experience with Airtable and Google Workspace, especially Sheets, Drive, and Docs, is preferred.
• Strong understanding of production budgets.
• Able to cross-check documents and budgets to confirm numbers and catch discrepancies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with a willingness to jump in.
• Genuine interest in marketing production and entertainment content.
• Comfortable with a fast pace and constant change.
• ORGANIZED!
• Quick thinker and adaptable to new workflows.
• Responsible and able to manage yourself and multiple tasks to stay on track without close oversight.
• Detail-oriented.
• Experience in project and data management is highly desired.
• Experience supporting a production team across multiple concurrent shoots is preferred.
• Only Los Angeles residents will be considered.
  

Freelance to start
Freelance rate of $275–$325 per day
Full time at $70,000–$80,000
