Established (10+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Litigation Attorney for Plaintiff Personal Injury in Los Angeles, CA & Chicago & Las Vegas An established firm with over 10 years in practice is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2-3+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This Attorney will have experience with plaintiff-side personal injury, elder abuse, and employment litigation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters. Offer Salary range: $115,000-$185,000+, contingent on experience 12 paid holidays annually 10 days of paid vacation annually 6 days of sick leave annually Medical insurance - (paid for by the firm) 401(k) with 4% fully vested safe-harbor company match Training and continuing education budget Regular firm events Company-issued laptop replaced every 3 years, becoming personal property thereafter Occasional access to premium event tickets and suite experiences based on availability Qualifications Holds an active license in good standing with the State Bar of California Holds a JD from an ABA-accredited law school Brings 2-3+ years of civil litigation experience, plaintiff-side preferred Has hands-on experience taking and defending depositions Demonstrates law and motion experience in California state court Possesses strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills Manages a caseload independently as a self-starter while remaining responsive to the lead attorney Responsibilities Draft complaints, demand letters, written discovery, and discovery responses on plaintiff-side personal injury, elder abuse, and employment law matters Handle all aspects of law and motion, including drafting, opposing, and arguing motions in state and federal court Take depositions of defendants, treating physicians, and retained experts Defend depositions of plaintiffs and prepare clients thoroughly for their testimony Prepare lay witnesses, treating providers, and experts for deposition and trial Work directly with retained experts including medical, biomechanical, economic, life care planning, and accident reconstruction professionals to develop case theory and damages Review and analyze medical records, imaging, and provider reports, identifying mechanism of injury and causation issues Develop case strategy in collaboration with the senior litigation attorney and execute on it independently Attend hearings, case management conferences, mediations, and settlement conferences Maintain clear, timely communication with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and the internal team #J-18808-Ljbffr CyberCoders
