Job OverviewMarketech International Corporation USA is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to oversee and coordinate day-to-day facility maintenance activities within a semiconductor and industrial project environment.
This position serves as a primary point of contact for maintenance needs involving MICU buildings, offices, trailers, storage areas, vehicles, tools, and related facility spaces. The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will assess maintenance requests, establish priorities, coordinate repairs and service providers, maintain records, track tools and supplies, and perform basic hands-on maintenance when appropriate.
Although this position does not directly supervise employees, it carries significant responsibility for coordinating facility operations, managing maintenance priorities, communicating with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate has hands-on facility or building maintenance experience, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, vehicle, and general facility maintenance.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Maintenance Coordination- Coordinate day-to-day maintenance needs for MICU buildings, offices, trailers, storage areas, vehicles, and related facility spaces.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal facility maintenance requests.
- Review maintenance concerns, determine urgency, establish priorities, and coordinate appropriate corrective action.
- Develop and maintain preventive-maintenance schedules, inspection routines, and recurring service plans.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance services with internal teams, contractors, vendors, property representatives, and service providers.
- Track open maintenance items and follow through until work is completed.
- Communicate maintenance schedules, service interruptions, repair status, and facility updates to affected teams.
- Support facility improvement projects, office or trailer setups, equipment relocations, and workplace changes.
- Help ensure facilities remain safe, functional, organized, clean, and operationally ready.
- Perform routine facility inspections and identify maintenance needs, unsafe conditions, damage, leaks, or equipment concerns.
- Complete minor repairs, adjustments, replacements, and corrective-maintenance tasks within approved scope.
- Support basic plumbing maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate and assist with HVAC inspections, air-filter replacements, thermostat concerns, and routine system upkeep.
- Perform basic electrical support tasks within approved safety requirements and escalate licensed electrical work when necessary.
- Assist with basic mechanical maintenance involving facility-related equipment and systems.
- Support basic vehicle inspections, maintenance coordination, and upkeep.
- Assist with general labor, material movement, equipment setup, and facility-support assignments as needed.
- Escalate complex repairs, safety concerns, system failures, or urgent maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor or service provider.
- Contact vendors and service providers to obtain repair information, pricing, availability, and service timelines.
- Coordinate vendor access, work schedules, site requirements, and completion of assigned services.
- Monitor vendor performance and verify that requested work has been completed.
- Maintain vendor contact information, service records, quotes, invoices, warranties, and related documentation.
- Communicate service issues, delays, additional repair needs, or cost concerns to management.
- Support the evaluation of service providers and maintenance-related purchasing needs.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain organized records of inspections, preventive maintenance, completed repairs, pending work, vendor services, and follow-up actions.
- Create and update maintenance checklists, work logs, service schedules, and facility records.
- Track recurring issues and help identify long-term repair or replacement needs.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and company systems to support reporting and documentation.
- Provide clear maintenance status updates to management and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to facility projects, equipment, warranties, repairs, and service history.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, equipment, maintenance supplies, parts, and facility materials.
- Track assigned tools and equipment, including availability, location, usage, and condition.
- Organize maintenance storage areas and ensure tools and materials are stored safely.
- Report missing, damaged, defective, or unsafe tools and equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance-related supply purchases and restocking needs.
- Assist with receiving, staging, distributing, and documenting tools, materials, and equipment.
- Support equipment inspections and replacement planning.
- Follow company safety policies, site procedures, PPE requirements, and approved work practices.
- Help identify and address facility-related safety concerns.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruption to employees and project operations.
- Provide professional and responsive customer service when handling internal maintenance requests.
- Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
- Work independently while coordinating cross-functional maintenance activities.
- Demonstrate accountability, urgency, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, construction support, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
- Hands-on knowledge of general building and facility maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and vehicle maintenance.
- Experience coordinating maintenance requests, repairs, vendors, or service providers.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication, customer-service, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs and follow through on open items.
- Ability to perform hands-on maintenance and general labor tasks as needed.
- Ability to work independently without direct day-to-day supervision.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain organized work areas.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience supporting semiconductor, manufacturing, cleanroom, construction, warehouse, or industrial facilities.
- Experience coordinating preventive-maintenance schedules and facility inspections.
- Experience working with contractors, vendors, property-management representatives, or service providers.
- Experience tracking tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, or maintenance inventory.
- Experience reviewing quotes, coordinating purchases, or maintaining vendor documentation.
- Experience using maintenance-management systems, work-order systems, inspection forms, or service-tracking tools.
- Experience supporting office, trailer, warehouse, or multi-location facility operations.
- Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese communication skills are a plus but are not required.

This position involves a combination of maintenance coordination, administrative responsibilities, vendor communication, and hands-on facility work within active semiconductor, industrial, construction, office, trailer, storage, and facility-support environments.
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator may work around tools, maintenance materials, vehicles, mechanical equipment, facility systems, offices, trailers, storage areas, and active work zones.
The position requires the ability to wear required personal protective equipment and follow company and site-specific safety procedures. Work may include standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying materials, using hand and power tools, inspecting equipment, driving between assigned locations, and responding to changing maintenance priorities.
