Window and Door Salesperson

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Window and Door Salesperson role based in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The Window and Door Salesperson will meet with residential customers in the showroom and in their homes to understand project needs, take accurate measurements, and recommend appropriate Marvin windows, doors, and related products. This role will prepare and present quotes, explain product features and benefits, and guide customers through design options, pricing, and timelines. The person in this position will follow up on leads, maintain a sales pipeline, and collaborate with installation and project management teams to ensure smooth scheduling and customer satisfaction. Day‑to‑day tasks include responding to inquiries, updating CRM records, coordinating with internal teams, and providing proactive communication before and after installation. Qualifications Proven sales skills in residential building products, remodeling, or home improvement, with the ability to build rapport and close deals. Knowledge of windows, doors, or related construction materials, including basic understanding of measurements, installation considerations, and energy efficiency. Strong customer service orientation, with clear, professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read or interpret simple drawings, plans, or specifications and translate them into practical product recommendations. Comfort using CRM or sales tracking tools, email, and basic office software to manage leads and customer information. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for customer visits within the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a fast‑paced, goal‑driven environment. Previous experience in retail sales, in‑home sales, construction, or remodeling is preferred; familiarity with Marvin products is a plus.
