Job Description Under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the administrative supervision of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, the Senior Radiologic Technologist performs advanced radiologic work, provides lead direction to Radiologic Technologists, CF, lower-level staff, and inmate-workers, maintains order, and supervises inmate conduct while protecting the safety of persons and property. Term: 12 months (may be extended to 24 months or become permanent). Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services. One year of experience performing the duties of a Radiologic Technologist in a Correctional Facility in the California state service. Three years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods under an accredited medical radiologist, or successful completion of graduate nurse work that satisfies one year of required experience and training. One year of experience as a radiologic technologist and successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, in collaboration with the American College of Radiology.
