Are you an organized, computer-savvy professional looking for an opportunity where every day brings something new to learn? Our client is looking for an  Accounting Specialist who is eager to build their skills, take on additional responsibilities, and grow into a long-term opportunity.

This is more than just an administrative position—you'll gradually expand your knowledge across  accounting, order entry, invoicing, cash receipts, vendor communication, and office operations while helping the company transition to a modern, paperless environment.

What You'll Do

• Process  Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
• Enter and process  invoices, bills, purchase orders, and sales orders
• Convert  purchase orders into sales orders within the system
• Handle  customer invoicing and provide invoice information to customers via email
• Process and enter  cash receipts
• Assist with  check runs and payment processing
• Enter and maintain accurate data in  Sage 100/MAS 90
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, orders, payments, and other questions
• Communicate with customers regarding invoices and account information
• Assist with order entry, processing, and tracking
• Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation
• Help transition paper-based processes to a  paperless/electronic system
• Convert paper  Bills of Lading, invoices, and payment records to electronic formats
• Use  Excel and Word for reports, tracking, documentation, and daily office tasks
• Follow established procedures while asking questions when clarification is needed
• Learn new responsibilities and systems as your knowledge grows
• Support the team with additional administrative and accounting-related duties

What We're Looking For

• Sage 100 or MAS 90 experience – plus
• Basic Microsoft  Word and Excel skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes
• Comfortable asking questions and taking initiative
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday
