Certified Public Accountant
A career-minded mid-sized CPA Firm is seeking to hire a full-time Certified Public Accountant. This Firm offers a very strong tenure history, extraordinary work/life culture and growth opportunity. Servicing closely held businesses and their owners for over 30 years. The Firm specializes in multiple industries while providing clients with professional audit, tax, accounting, and consulting services.
Essential responsibilities of this position will be:
- Developing client relationships
- Performing compilation through audit procedures
- Financial statement and workpaper review
- Responsible for execution of attest engagements
- Participation in the Firm's Quality Control functions
- Federal and State tax returns for individual and business clients
- Tax compliance research
- Representation of clients for various tax agency audits
- Client consulting
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- 5-10 years public accounting experience
- Senior to Manager level experience
Requirements:
- Familiarity with tax software
- Experience with Excel, Word, and Quickbooks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in attest level work, compilations through audits
