You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide respectful customer service and clear communication to residents, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a housing shelter location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of building common areas, entrances, exits, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor logs.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Support a respectful, trauma-informed environment by communicating professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds and reporting maintenance, cleanliness, or security-related concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
