Part-time Community Center Building Maintenance

This is a part-time year-round position. Applicants must be knowledgeable in general building and janitorial maintenance and repair, carpentry, minor electrical repair, painting, and grounds maintenance. Strong building maintenance and repair skills are a plus. The position is part-time at 19.75 hours/week with flexible hours starting as early 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Pay will be determined based on previous experience.

Work includes, but is not limited to: Clean restrooms, restock all paper dispensers, clean mirrors, sweep, mop and wax floors when required, check deodorant dispensers for proper operation, empty all trash containers and re-bag if required, vacuum rugs, sanitize railings, doorknobs and all public touch points daily, dust furniture, wipe down and sanitize exercise equipment, change light bulbs, wipe down tables and chairs, sweep and clean entrance to building as required, assist with shoveling and sanding of sidewalks around building during snow storms, pick up any litter around grounds, check daily work order for room set-up instructions (including bingo equipment), assist with luncheons, meetings etc. as required.


Pay rate up to $24/hour, based upon experience.
