What You'll Do As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you'll take the lead on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems while serving as a trusted resource for both customers and fellow technicians. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair complex HVAC issues across commercial and industrial systems Service and maintain chillers, rooftop units (RTUs), package units, split systems, and associated equipment Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system performance and reliability Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls-related problems Identify root causes and implement lasting solutions Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly Maintain a strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance Support, mentor, and train junior technicians in the field Represent Walker White Mechanical with professionalism and integrity at customer sites What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems Hands-on knowledge of chillers, RTUs, package units, and refrigeration systems Advanced diagnostic and problem-solving abilities EPA Certification (Required) Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of commercial HVAC experience Experience with building automation and controls systems Manufacturer certifications or specialized HVAC training Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification Why Experienced Technicians Choose Walker White Respect for Your Expertise You're hired for your knowledge and trusted to make decisions in the field.
