Sales Representative

Call on accounts and cover daily routes using an established and efficient routing pattern Analyze the account base, visit accounts, identify opportunities, complete surveys, and ensure national account compliance Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations covering new products, placements, resets, drink and wine lists, and promotions Maintain product levels by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legally permissible Educate account staff on priority brands through training seminars Manage customer account receivables, credits, returns, and aged receivables communications Service accounts by delivering products in extenuating circumstances and handling or escalating customer issues Achieve sales and merchandising objectives, including distribution, volume, and activity goals Plan against objectives using pricing, product programming, and historical account purchase information Monitor inventory and out-of-stock situations and alert management to demand fluctuations Maintain brand visibility and account standards using current point-of-sale materials Collect and deliver payments where legally permissible Support new account openings by developing opening orders with the Field Sales Manager Participate in supplier work-with sales calls and sales blitzes Conduct safe and responsible interactions with the public while handling beverage alcohol products Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sales Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion Customer service skills Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines Analytic and Reporting skills Sound judgement and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment Must be at least 21 years of age Must possess a valid Driver’s License Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance Ability to remain stationary, communicate, and operate a computer and telephone Ability to reach overhead, squat, and bend Ability to carry and lift 45–65 pounds Core Competencies Demonstrates strong sales acumen with the ability to analyze account data, manage customer relationships, and achieve sales objectives.
