About the Position

Job Title

Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Night Shift

Zanesville, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, Level III Trauma Center Emergency Department with 38 beds and 2 trauma bays
• Deliver emergency nursing care across a broad acuity range in one of the top 10 busiest EDs in Ohio
• Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation — proficiency is mandatory
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 completed ED travel assignments and/or 3 years of current/recent Emergency Department experience
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Epic EMR proficiency required — candidates without documented Epic experience will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Experience working in a Level III Trauma Center environment
