About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Personal Lines Assistant Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Personal Lines professional who has at least one year of experience and is ready to take the next step in their career.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, client-focused, and enjoys working with both clients and insurance carriers. This role will provide exposure to account management, renewals, client service, and cross-selling while offering an opportunity to grow into greater responsibility.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly and responsive service to Personal Lines clients and prospects
- Assist with day-to-day servicing of personal insurance accounts
- Follow up with insurance carriers and underwriters regarding submissions and policy status
- Assist with client proposals and insurance summaries
- Assist with renewals and help ensure they are completed accurately and on time
- Process endorsements, auto ID cards, policy changes, and other client service requests
- Maintain accurate client information and documentation within the agency management system
- Assist with client retention
- Communicate with clients regarding policy questions, changes, and follow-up items
- Maintain a paperless, organized workflow
- Support the Personal Lines team and take on additional responsibilities as experience grows
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 year of experience in Personal Lines insurance
- Active P&C insurance license preferred/required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office technology
- Client-focused with a professional and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the Personal Lines insurance field
- Experience with an agency management system is a plus (EPIC Preferred)
- Personal Lines comparative rating experience is a plus
