Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional, teaching assistant, or in a similar student support role
• Familiarity with classroom routines and procedures
• Patience, empathy, and an encouraging attitude when working with students of diverse needs
• Ability to communicate clearly with faculty, students, and families
• High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional credentials or certifications)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in implementing instructional plans and classroom activities
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, including help with assignments and fostering independent learning
• Support students with special needs or learning differences according to individual education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
• Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive, inclusive environment
• Supervise students in the classroom, hallways, and during various activities or transitions
• Contribute to a collaborative and enthusiastic school culture
