THE OPPORTUNITY

The People Operations Generalist will be an integral part of running the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department with a focus on orchestrating a seamless team member experience through the full employee life cycle. This position is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by managing employee concerns, promoting engagement, assisting with conflict resolution in partnership with the Director, facilitating onboarding and orientation sessions, supporting the professional development needs of PDC, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. This role is critical in resolving conflicts by collaborating closely with management and working with the Director to develop and facilitate training programs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Develop individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs. Recommend organizational performance initiatives to ensure training meets business needs and improves performance. Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Assist with all employee off‑boarding activities, including system access, notifications, and checklists.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field. Three+ years of Human Resources experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including intermediate Excel. Previous experience using HRIS/Payroll software (e.g., ADP, Dayforce, Success Factors, Paylocity, etc.). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
