Solaris HealthCare Lake Zephyr – Zephyrhills, FL Solaris HealthCare Lake Zephyr is seeking PRN Physical Therapists (PTs) to join our skilled nursing team. We offer multiple PRN opportunities, ideal for clinicians looking for flexible scheduling, including weekend coverage and vacation coverage. Weekend PRN Physical Therapist Weekday PRN Physical Therapist Vacation Coverage PRN Status: PRN Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Responsibilities Evaluate and treat residents to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team. Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Educate residents and families on therapy goals and progress. Requirements Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license . Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred (open to strong candidates from other settings). Strong communication and documentation skills. Reliable availability for PRN, weekend, and vacation coverage. Successful completion of the academic requirements of an accredited physical therapy program, and passing the American Board of Physical Therapy Examination (or an equivalent national examination) prior to 1971. Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a physical therapist in the state. Prior experience in Physical Therapy preferred. Member of the American Physical Therapy Association preferred. Professional attitude and appearance. Proficient administrative and public relations skills. Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in physical therapy. Knowledge of Medicare and third‑party reimbursement preferred.
