A hospital in the Jersey City, NJ area is searching for a Pathology Assistant to join them.

Job Function:

• Support Pathologists with the preparation and evaluation of surgical specimens
• Assist with gross examination, tissue selection, and sample preparation for microscopic review
• Help process urgent intraoperative specimens, including frozen section work when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation, specimen images, labeling, storage, and disposal processes
• Coordinate tissue collection for research in accordance with required protocols
• Support lab quality, safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Maintain pathology equipment, supplies, reagents, and overall lab readiness

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant program
• ASCP Pathologist' Assistant (PA) Certification.
