HR & Plant Administrator
Position Overview: The HR & Plant Administrator supports both human resources functions and daily plant operations, serving as a key liaison between employees, leadership, and corporate HR. This role ensures smooth administrative processes across HR, safety, compliance, and plant support.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files
- Coordinate recruitment efforts (job postings, interviews, background checks)
- Manage onboarding/offboarding, including orientation and new hire paperwork
- Administer benefits and respond to employee HR-related inquiries
- Support employee relations issues and documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Prepare HR reports and assist with audit
- Plant / Operations Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to plant leadership (production, safety, operations)
- Track attendance, timekeeping, and payroll submissions (often via HRIS/Kronos-type systems)
- Coordinate safety trainings, certifications, and compliance documentation
- Maintain plant logs, reports, and operational paperwork
- Assist with scheduling, shift coordination, and workforce planning
- Support audits (safety, quality, and regulatory)
- Serve as point of contact for vendors (background checks, drug screens, uniforms, etc.)
Qualifications:
- 25 years of experience in HR, office admin, or plant administration
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, agriculture, or similar environment preferred
- Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/timekeeping systems
- Excellent organization, multitasking, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced plant environment

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
