Manufacturing Production Operator (Molding) | Details and Compensation:
* Location: Columbus, NE 68601 - 100% on-site
* Payrate: $20.00/hr
* Required Availability: Full-Time | 12-hour rotating schedule | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
* * Rotation pattern: Week 1: 2 on / 2 off / 3 on | Week 2: 2 off / 2 on / 3 off
* Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed
Manufacturing Production Operator (Molding) | Summary and Highlights:
The Manufacturing Production Operator (Molding) will perform routine production and packaging functions—such as filling, assembling, labeling, and inspecting—while following standard operating procedures under general supervision. This role supports accurate production documentation and works closely with a team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals in a manufacturing environment.
* This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
* Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
* A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Manufacturing Production Operator (Molding) | Responsibilities:
* Perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing/packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting
* Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions under direct supervision
* Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with quality and compliance standards (e.g., GMP/ISO-style documentation)
* Work effectively in a team environment to support department goals and daily production needs
* Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as assigned
* Communicate clearly with team members and leads/supervisors
Manufacturing Production Operator (Molding) | Requirements:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
* Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
* Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (required)
* Experience: Manufacturing experience required (1-2 years preferred)
* Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English and perform basic math calculations
* Ability to report to work on a regular, punctual basis and work rotating schedules
