Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Progressive/Acute Oncology Telemetry Unit requiring 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience and ACLS/BLS certification.

Job Details

• Progressive/Acute Oncology unit within a hospital setting,
• Telemetry monitoring for oncology patient population,
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30,
• Candidates will float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital,

Job Requirements

• Active KY State or Compact RN license required,
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required,
• EKG exam certification required,
• 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience required,
• Oncology experience preferred,
• ONS/ONCC certification preferred,
• Chemotherapy administration and monitoring skills preferred,
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills required,

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care within an oncology unit, including cardiac monitoring and emergency response,
• Expected to work some winter holidays,
• Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted,
• Returning permanent staff must be separated from all UK affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler,
