What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care within a Level III NICU and newborn nursery
• Attend and manage high-risk deliveries in collaboration with OB and perinatal teams
• Care for a daily census of approximately 9-11 high-acuity patients
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists
• Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory staff
• Develop and implement clinical protocols to improve patient outcomes
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
• Communicate effectively with hospital leadership and staff
• Optional participation in moonlighting opportunities across Virginia

What You Need

• Board Certification in Neonatology
• Valid Virginia medical license or eligible for licensing
• At least several years of neonatal intensive care experience preferred
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
