Senior Marketing Manager / Lead, Consumer Insights & Research Innovation Location: Plano, TX (Onsite) Employment Type: 6 + month contract to (hire + multi-extension capability) Rate: 57.00 /hr. We are looking for a forward-thinking Senior Manager / Lead of Consumer Insights & Research Innovation to join our team. In this role, you won't just run traditional research; you will shape the future of how our organization understands its customers. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between traditional consumer insights and modern data automation, balancing a deep mastery of research methodology with a passion for evaluating, testing, and implementing agentic AI workflows and tools to scale insight activation. Key Responsibilities Market Research & Consumer Insights End-to-End Study Design: Own the strategy, design, and execution of complex quantitative and qualitative research studies. Core Research Workstreams: Lead critical insights initiatives, including comprehensive brand tracking, advanced customer segmentation, concept and positioning testing, and detailed market landscape assessments. Customer Experience: Drive customer experience (CX) research to uncover friction points and optimize the end-to-end user journey. AI & Research Innovation Tool Evaluation & Adoption: Actively evaluate and deploy next-generation, AI-enabled research platforms to drastically improve project efficiency and insight generation. Agentic AI Pioneering: Partner closely with internal Analytics and Technology teams to co-develop, test, and implement custom AI agents tailored for insights functions. Governance & Frameworks: Design robust governance models and ethical guidelines to ensure the responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI tools across all research operations. Insight Activation & Cross-Functional Influence Strategic Partnership: Embed with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Product, CX, Innovation, and Corporate Strategy. Business Impact: Translate data into a compelling narrative and deliver actionable recommendations that directly influence Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, portfolio optimization, pricing, revenue strategies, and customer engagement. The Ideal Candidate Profile You are a rare hybrid professional who can seamlessly pivot between talking survey methodology, conjoint analysis, and data weights to discussing AI copilots, agent orchestration, and automated insight synthesis. You understand how to protect the integrity of a research study while aggressively pushing the boundaries of technology to generate faster, deeper insights. You are a self-starter, an exceptional communicator, and a champion for data-driven transformation. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Marketing, Business, Psychology, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience directly leading Market Research, Consumer Insights, or Customer Analytics initiatives. Methodological Expertise: Strong hands-on experience across a variety of quantitative and qualitative methodologies (e.g., tracking studies, segmentation, focus groups). AI Tech Fluency: Practical exposure to or an active, demonstrable passion for integrating AI, LLMs, or agentic automation into a corporate research/insights workflow. Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams with data-backed narratives. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or MBA.
