Technical Writer

Payrate: $50.00 - $55.00/hr.


Summary:
We're a great team of writers who work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make the Company application easier to use. You're a problem solver with excellent people skills who'll write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and/or developer guides. You may also create videos, tutorials, and other user assistance to help customers. You're a great match if you're self-directed, passionate about technology, produce high-quality documentation, and understand how your work contributes to the overall success of the product. You'll work with teams that are onsite in the United States and whose features interest you. You'll use innovative technical communication tools and Agile methodologies to deliver the best work of your career!


Responsibilities

• Create and update documentation for AgentExchange.
• Develop, write, edit, and format materials including technical manuals, installation guides, user manuals, and related technical and business process documentation.
• Adhere to format, content, and style guidelines when creating, updating, and enhancing documentation, ensuring usability, accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of previous technical writing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

• Expertise in Grade IV technical writing, including self-directed research, team and stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience in using AI for writing and editing.
• Optional: Experience with software app stores as an app store team member or software developer.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00 - $55.00 /hour . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
