Join our team and make a meaningful difference every day! ARE YOU THE FUNERAL TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT OUR TEAM NEEDS?If you can meet the following requirements, we need you as our Funeral Transportation Assistant!Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordHigh school diploma or GED equivalentAbility to lift and move 150+ lbsAbility to follow instructions provided by phone, text, or in personProfessional appearanceAbility to handle human remains safely and respectfullyFuneral Assistance License (or willingness to obtain one; company assistance available) WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?This position offers full-time, part-time, and 1099 contract opportunities, with employees reporting to a central location before traveling to assigned service areas throughout Massachusetts and occasionally neighboring states. As a Funeral Transportation Assistant, you'll work closely with hospitals, nursing homes, residences, and funeral homes, performing removals and transportation services with the utmost dignity and respect. Every interaction will require professionalism, clear communication, and careful attention to detail as you safely assist in transferring and transporting deceased individuals.
