Registered Behavior Technician in Sunnyvale, CA

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting a kindergarten student in a special day class environment. This role is ideal for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) dedicated to making a difference in a school-based setting. You'll be working weekdays, providing essential behavioral support under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with ample opportunity to use your skillset in a dynamic classroom setting.


What you'll bring:

• Current, active RBT credential (required)
• Prior experience in educational or school-based settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with special education classroom routines
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects
• Candidates residing locally are highly preferred due to district requirements; this is not a travel contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions to a kindergarten student with special needs
• Follow individualized behavior intervention plans under ongoing BCBA oversight provided by the agency
• Collect data and document progress toward behavioral goals
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with instructional staff
• Uphold ethical standards and comply with all district onboarding and fingerprinting requirements
• Adapt strategies to support student engagement and success

This position is full-time throughout the school year, 30-32 hours per week. BCBA supervision will be coordinated by the agency to ensure you are well supported in your role. Candidates will be required to complete both agency and district onboarding processes, including fingerprinting.
