CFO

A premier alternative investment platform is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to lead firmwide financial strategy and operational infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity for a senior finance leader to shape and scale a sophisticated multi-vehicle platform while partnering directly with executive leadership in a high-impact, strategic role.

Job Description:

• Lead all financial operations across multiple investment vehicles and affiliated entities
• Oversee financial consolidation, reporting, and audited financial statement preparation
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including NAV calculations and fee accruals
• Supervise fund administration activities including capital accounts, carried interest, and distributions
• Direct treasury operations, liquidity management, and banking relationships
• Lead tax planning, compliance, and regulatory reporting across all entities
• Produce investor reporting materials and serve as key financial contact during diligence processes
• Assess and implement fund accounting/portfolio management systems and strengthen internal controls
• Partner with executive leadership on firm strategy, capital planning, and financial analysis
• Build, mentor, and manage the finance/accounting team and oversee key external service providers

Requirements / Qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience within alternative asset management
• Direct experience across multi-entity structures including SMAs, closed-end funds, and SPVs
• CPA required; CFA or advanced degree strongly preferred
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, investment company accounting, fair value measurement, and derivatives accounting
• Strong knowledge of partnership taxation, K-1 preparation, PFIC/ECI analysis, and fund tax structures
• Experience working with institutional investors and family office/high-net-worth relationships
• Familiarity with fund administration, prime brokerage operations, and alternative investment infrastructure
• Proven track record implementing financial systems and operational controls
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Ability to thrive in a lean, high-accountability, build-oriented environment
• 10+ years of experience strongly preferred
