Registered Nurse - Women's Services / Obstetrics (OB)

Role: Manages women's services activities, workflow, and nursing resources in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities Develops and implements individualized care plans for women and newborns based on health data analysis. Coordinates care delivery to promote woman-, newborn-, and family-centered care within scope of practice. Evaluates patient progress and ensures adherence to expected outcomes. Practices ethically, respecting cultural diversity, and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Serves as a role model, mentor, and change agent, staying current with evidence-based nursing practices. Uses evidence to improve nursing practice and participates in quality evaluation. Ensures safe, environmentally responsible care tailored to patient needs. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; no prior experience required. Valid RN license in applicable states and current certifications including BLS, ALS, and NRP/PALS as per state requirements. Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and communication.
