Total Health Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our surgical center team in Jersey City, New Jersey. Work Environment

The position is full-time, based onsite at our surgical center in Jersey City. This 40-hour work week operates Monday through Friday, with no on-call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. As a key member of our team, you will practice in a well-equipped facility designed to support a wide range of gynecological procedures, enhancing the quality and efficiency of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Your primary responsibility will be managing your own patient panel and treating physician overflow cases, ensuring that all patients receive timely and effective care.

• You will work under the direct supervision of a physician, benefitting from their expertise to deliver high-quality care consistently.

• This role is exclusively clinic-based, allowing you to focus on outpatient care without the distractions or pressures of emergencies associated with hospital work.

• You will perform various procedures, including: IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, endometrial biopsies, vulvar biopsies, colposcopies (if trained), circumcisions (if trained), and overall women’s wellness examinations.

• Engage in ongoing learning opportunities with our APC council, aimed at enhancing your clinical skills and professional development.

• Participate in leadership training and development initiatives, preparing you for potential future roles within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of women seeking gynecological care, wellness checks, and reproductive health services. You will play a crucial role in maintaining patient trust and satisfaction through the provision of personalized care, ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.

• Current Physician Assistant Certification and an unrestricted state medical license.

• Full COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for this role, in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Prior experience in an OB/GYN setting is essential for providing specialized care aligned with clinic protocols.

• Knowledge of EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred to facilitate streamlined patient management.

• Must possess effective communication, critical thinking, time management, and decision-making skills to excel in a busy clinic environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in obstetrics and gynecology, is preferred.

• Proficiency in handling specific procedures such as colposcopies and circumcisions will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
