Full-Time Physician Assistant for Surgical Center at Health Point Clinic

Health Point Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Physician Assistant to enhance our surgical center located in Jersey City, New Jersey. Work Environment

Our surgical center is a modern facility equipped with the latest technologies and resources to support a wide range of healthcare services. Working onsite, you will become part of a close-knit team that includes experienced OB/GYNs and Advanced Practice Clinicians. This role involves a 5-day work week with a manageable 40 hours, giving you a balanced work-life environment without on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own panel of patients while assisting in physician overflow to provide comprehensive care.
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians, ensuring full support throughout clinical practices.
• Engage in 100% clinic-based practices, focusing solely on patient care within the surgical center environment.
• Perform a range of procedures, including but not limited to IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, endometrial biopsies, vulvar biopsies, women's wellness exams, and colposcopies (if trained), as well as circumcisions (if trained).
• Participate in the APC council to further develop clinical knowledge and leadership skills.
• Take advantage of leadership training and mentoring opportunities available to enhance professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will center on serving a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on women's health. Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant Certification.
• Unrestricted State Medical License in New Jersey.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory; candidates in states with booster requirements must comply accordingly.
• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Strong critical thinking, effective communication, active listening, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of relevant experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Previous exposure to EPIC EMR systems is highly desirable.
• Experience performing specialized procedures relevant to women's health.

Compensation and Benefits

Health Point Clinic offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 140,000 to USD 180,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
