Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with chronic pain conditions. This includes reviewing comprehensive medical histories, performing detailed physical examinations, and assessing pain levels using validated scales.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with a diverse team of physicians and specialists to develop tailored pain management plans. This may involve the integration of various treatment modalities, such as medication management, physical therapy, nerve blocks, and interventional procedures.
• Patient Education: Provide ongoing education to patients regarding their conditions, available treatment options, and pain management techniques, helping them take an active role in their care journey.
• Procedural Assistance: Support physicians in performing interventional procedures, including epidural injections and joint injections, while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Follow-Up Care: Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and providing continuous support and counseling to improve treatment adherence and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary client focus includes individuals facing chronic pain due to a variety of conditions, such as arthritis, back pain, neuropathy, and post-surgical pain. The Physician Assistant will work closely with this diverse patient population, understanding their unique challenges and tailoring care to meet their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Physician Assistant Studies or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current state-issued license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• Certification in Pain Management or a related specialty is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in pain management or a related clinical setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
