Body and Spine Locomotion Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Pain Management Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team in Jersey City, New Jersey. This role is pivotal in diagnosing and managing chronic pain conditions, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care while promoting effective health practices.

Work Environment

You will work onsite at our state-of-the-art surgical center, equipped with the latest medical technology and guided by leading professionals in the field. You will work a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a focus on enhancing patient outcomes through effective communication and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and review patient medical histories to assess health conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging, and other relevant studies to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for a range of chronic pain issues, emphasizing both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patients' responses to treatment, making adjustments as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in line with healthcare regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and facilitate coordinated care across the team.
• Educate patients and their families on managing chronic conditions, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care strategies.
• Promote health and well-being practices within the community through patient engagement and outreach initiatives.
• Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing education, research participation, and collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• Active Physician Assistant license in the state of New Jersey; certification as a PA-C is required.
• A valid DEA registration number for prescribing medications.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The Pain Management Physician Assistant position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to the base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
