Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing and maintaining professional rapport through active listening and empathy.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, stability, and any potential changes in treatment plans, including discharges when appropriate.
\n
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.
\n
• Document client interactions and treatment notes meticulously to ensure compliance with professional standards and organizational policies.
\n
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate new clients’ needs and establish initial treatment plans.
\n
• Provide individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, employing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's situation.
\n
• Engage in individual supervision for ongoing professional development and to discuss case management strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to deliver coordinated and holistic care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification.

• Minimum of one year of post-graduate clinical experience in an outpatient setting.

• Proficient in using technology for documentation and communication, including RMS systems, Microsoft Excel, and email platforms.

• Experience providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families with a range of mental health issues.

• Demonstrated competence in conducting intake assessments to identify clients’ needs.

• Knowledge of community resources and the ability to make appropriate referrals as needed.
