Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment strategies that cater to immediate needs while fostering long-term growth in communication, cognition, or swallowing abilities.
• Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions that focus on enhancing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, caregivers, and physicians to create a cohesive approach to care.
• Provide education to patients and their families to support continued progress outside the therapy room.
• Participate in inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless transition throughout each patient's care continuum.
• Maintain up-to-date and precise documentation in compliance with appropriate regulations and standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and peer learning to stay at the forefront of your field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a nationally accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet accredited by ASHA.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
