Vaco Arizona is partnering with a top client in Tolleson that is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys overseeing accounting operations while leading key financial processes, including Accounts Payable, payroll review, and month-end close activities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment approvals
• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Review payroll for accuracy and resolve discrepancies prior to processing
• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial data
• Assist with cash management, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff

Requirements:

• Hands-on accounting experience with strong Accounts Payable and month-end close expertise
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
