Physician - Cardiology - Non-Invasive

Overview Job Description: Non-Invasive Cardiologist Responsibilities Deliver high-quality care through hospital rounding and clinic visits, with options for employment structure that includes: weekend rounding only, a traditional hospital/clinic schedule, or a shift-based hospital-only role. Offer outpatient services, including conducting walk-in clinics 2-3 times per month for those in the traditional role. Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary cardiology team to ensure optimal patient management. Participate in a 1:5 on-call rotation that may require telephone consultation and occasional in-person coverage during weekends. Maintain current certifications and licensing, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA registration, and Board Certification in Internal Medicine. Utilize the Epic EMR system for comprehensive documentation of patient encounters. Manage a patient load averaging 20-25 patients during an 8-hour clinic day while participating in hospital rounds for a total team coverage of 50-60 patients daily. Adhere to all credentialing and institutional protocols. Qualifications Candidates must possess Board Certification in Internal Medicine at the time of hire, with a requirement to secure Board Certification within two years of employment. Current licenses and certifications as listed above (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA, etc.).
