We have an excellent opportunity to join the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) business area of the Strategic Sensors & Precision Strike (SSPS) Mission Area as a Principal Financial Analyst supporting the Development, Test & Growth Programs as the FP&A Lead. ASDS designs, produces, and sustains radars including A/NTPY-2 and Sea Based X-Band Radar (SBX). These are high visibility, critical programs for Raytheon and our customers. This is a unique experience to help drive FP&A cadence across the Dev, Test & Growth portfolio partnering closely with business & program managers to track and analyze forecast data.

This is an onsite position in either Woburn, MA or Huntsville, AL.

What You Will Do

• Lead programs monthly forecast for bookings, sales, earnings and cash forecast. Support the monthly closing process and provide variance analysis.
• Lead the development of the long-range plan and annual operating plans. Analyze and make recommendations to leadership regarding AOP/LRP metrics.
• Serve as the partner in the planning and forecasting process with the FP&A manager and program business managers.
• Support to balance sheet, unbilled cash reviews, as well as other ad hoc management reviews.
• Continuous improvement of the monthly forecasting, accuracy and process.
• Lead month end forecast reconciliation and R&O consolidation
• Present monthly forecast data & analysis to program management partners.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of tools

Qualifications We Prefer

• SAP APEX EV, Rplan, BW, PMX, and EDIT+ experience
• Forecast and planning experience
• Proficient with Microsoft suite of tools (EXCEL, Power Point, Word)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize workload
• Must be independent and self-motivated
• Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines
• Proactive with demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems
• Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with multiple contract types

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
